“Yu WenWen’s stylist contacted us two months before the live show to order, discuss two special dresses in my mini collection. When the model was sent to Beijing, Yu WenWen wore it. try it and like it,” Pham Dang Anh Thu said.

ICE PHONEIX has made a special appearance on the cover of the prestigious international fashion magazine, L’OFFICIEL. This design is dedicated to the comeback of Fan Bīngbīng, the renowned superstar.
The concept and name of a glamorous Haute Couture made by designer Pham Dang Anh Thu for Fan Bingbing. This gown symbolizes the revival from ashes, which reflects the strong comeback of the Chinese superstar. Fan Bingbing decked out in a unique ombré silver blue design with the highlight of the sophisticated pattern topped with Swarovski crystals. All features exude an ethereal aura like her name.

As a matter of fact, Fan Bingbing’s team contacted JoliPoli to order this splendid and meaningful Haute Couture for the cover shooting session of this famous international fashion magazine since the beginning of 2023. In collaboration with stylist Kye Nguyen throughout the conceptualization as well as updating and exchanging details of the drawing, the “Ice Phoenix” took more than 2 months to complete, and was sent to China for shooting at the end of April.

The working process went very smoothly thanks to expert opinions from designer Pham Dang Anh Thu, stylist Kye, and the director of photography from Fan Bingbing’s team. The design was formed step by step and the result was visually outstanding to clearly represent Fan Bingbing’s signature characteristics. The most elaborate detail is the embossed color-changing rhinestone, which had to be fixed and remixed many times to create a sophisticated effect like a piece of glittering jewelry on the chest. It took artisans 40 days to complete this handcrafted part. The signature corset and fishtail silhouette of JoliPoli combined with the trendy 3D pleating technique turned Fan Bingbing into a magnificent phoenix – proud and confident but alluringly charming.

The shooting session was carefully prepared. Stylist Kye Nguyen brought the team from Vietnam to escort the dress to the beauty. Through the lens of a famous photographer and in a scrupulous concept, Fan Bingbing – in the “Ice Phoenix” gown – shined on the magazine cover of their July issue and reclaimed her glorious aura.
